88. Tom Yum Soup
The waitress asked me when I ordered it whether I would be ok with eating it because it was really spicy. I said that yeah that was fine, and I’d give it a go. And in the end it was really fine, it did seem to get hotter and hotter as I was going along and I admit that by the end I was wiping a little sweat from my brow but I ate the whole bowl and survived intact with my tongue not frazzled in the least. It was totally delicious. It was spicy and zingy and fresh and just plain yummy. This had a little bit of chicken in it rather than shrimp which I know is a little more traditional, but I prefer chicken. It included 89. Lemongrass and 90. Galangal, which contributed considerably to my liking of it as I love citrussy and gingery flavours.
