757. Ful Medames
A little while back, Pie and I had a takeout fiasco. We had heard some good things about a local Lebanese restaurant and on learning they delivered we placed an order. All good so far. Unfortunately the driver was beyond useless and took two hours to bring us our food. Not so good. Luckily when the food finally arrived it was so good that we almost forgot how long it had taken to arrive, and because a lot of the dishes were cold anyway they weren’t really spoiled. Ful medames is broad beans that are mashed with tahini, so the result is quite similar to hummus, and it was really delicious.
